Climate change affects every single earthling--regardless of age, gender, political belief, religion, or sexuality. Unfortunately, some voices are less likely to be heard in the climate movement. For youth in particular, speaking up about climate change can feel like shouting into the wind. Climate change also disproportionately impacts historically marginalized and underrepresented groups. That’s why it’s important for us to center these stories in the fight to save our planet. Those who are on the front-lines of the climate crisis, and those who will inherit the earth (us!) deserve to be heard and listened to. Changing Planet Justice is inviting teens from around the globe to describe how climate change impacts their hometown, so we can get this climate movement moving. See our submission guidelines.
